B-DAY HAPPENINGS

Well, I think he actually had a great time on his Birthday this yr. He has been working pretty hard for a few yrs now trying to get some pigs that he likes, lots of liters and lots of fun and I think he is pretty good at raising them. This yr we finally got quite a few babies that we could sell to some 4-H kids so we had a little sale on a Saturday which ended up falling on his birthday, so the kids and i decorated the pig pens with balloons and this banner. His mom brought over some birthday cake and punch to serve to the kids comeing to get their pigs. It was a great time, he was a little embarrassed at first but ended up enjoying the day.

I came home from work and when I went into my room I found this on my desk!!! WOW, instant tears!! They did it all on their own, just because. .............I simply can't find the words to describe what this means to me. I have absolutely fantastic kids!! They are not perfect, but I know they know their Savior and their Father in Heaven, and he knows them. He knows their dreams, their fears, their hearts, their intentions, their sorrows, their loves, and their destinies. After all, they are HIS children, he does know them better than me, and I thank Him every day for giving me time on this earth to be their mom. I just hope that I can help them on their journey to become all that He knows they can be.

19 yrs...

Well we have made it 19 years!! I am looking forward to the next 19!! I really should have put a pic of our wedding day on here but I really like this one. It was a Girls Choice dance at High School my Jr year and Joe was going over to Utah State. He was such a trooper to come back to high school to take me. I love you Joe!

Something I think about alot!!

I'm not sure where i heard this but i sure have thought about it alot, life is 10% action and 90% reaction. The more I think about it the more it seems to be true.
No matter where we go or what we do we are chooseing the way we act or react. And more times than not what we do effects someone else. Then it is their choice on how to act or react.
We can think we are doing the nicest thing for someone and depending on how they choose to react towards what we have done can, in their eyes, make it nice or nosey or inconsiderate or silly or a number of things.
I know for myself that I do it backwards most of the time, I assume what all the reaction "could" be and it keeps me from doing the action. This is a hard thing to change, i keep telling myself that if i do something with good intention it will be ok because i can not control the reaction that will come from it.
Anyway a little deep but I just wanted to share......
