My Fvaorite Holiday.......VALENTINES DAY!!!!!

8 hours and 23 mins till my favorite holiday month!!!!
I just love Valentines day, I love the whole love thing! Tacky? maybe. O well.

I love that I have "someone special" to love and give a really cute stuffed animal too, just like in grade school (he thinks I am so tacky). I love going to the store and looking at all the different cuddlely, soft, and extremely cute plush toys that there is! All the reds and pinks and hearts everywhere! All the cute little kids looking at them and wanting to give them to their teachers or the little older ones wanting to buy for the cute little girl in the class or the boy who is so good looking! It just makes me smile. I love all the little valentines cards and how the kids look through them wondering who maybe wrote a "extra special" messages like love, so and so, or xoxoxoxo all over the card! I love decorating all the little boxes or envelopes I loved that when i worked in the special ed class. ( I might have to take them one even though i don't work there any more). I still go through the little heart candy and see what is written on it before i eat it. My mom always makes valentine sugar cookies that are soooo good. (its the same cookies she makes for easter, christmas, and halloween. But for some reason they taste so much better in the shape of a heart with the "I heart U" written on it.)
I love getting my kids a little something and put it where they can find it on Valentines day morning.
And lets not forget the great friends i have, i love you!! Thanks for being my friends!!!
Love, love, love, love, love!!!! you can never give or get enough!!!

Whose cuter.......?

I had to sneak the camera.....This is Clover (born on St. Patricks day, hence the name.) Joe absolutely hates it when she tries to lick his face, and she knows it. He came in from outside to get warm and crashed in the chair. First off she jumps up and just lays on his lap, then she would inch her way closer to his face, every time she moved she waited for him to push her off. When she got pretty close, she fell asleep it was so funny to watch. He teases me alot about my puppies, but as you can see he dosen't mind them too much.

an angel in my eyes....

B-Boo got her medallion in Y W last week. And i am so greatful for her tremendous spirit in my home. The relationship i have with her is sometihing i hope never to loose. She has taught me so much in my life! Especially encouragement. I have worried alot at times that when her friends see me that I would maybe an embarrassement to her because im not the smallest or the prettiest mother, but never once has she even hesitated to introduce me to her friends even with a hug to go along with it. She truely amazes me.
I also want to tell all of you that have taught her in Y W or Sunday school or in any area of her life. Thank you so much!!! A Young Women now days can never have enough support when it comes to gospel and friendship not matter the age.
She also tries very hard to be a good friend. And being a Freshman Girl isn't the easiest thing now a days. And she deals with it pretty well. I'm very proud of her for sticking to her beliefs even if it does mean loosing a friend for a few weeks. And the hardest thing i have found, so far, being a mother is seeing your children hurt because someone else just wants to drag them down. It is a heart breaker.....Hoping that it will only make them a stronger person in the long run... I will try to get her pic posted with this when joe lets me touch the camera (im "kinda" kidding) he is getting better to let em touch it!!!

A poem i wrote

the time I have wanted to share this poem that I wrote a while ago, and the time was never quite right. I don't know what has changed butseems good so here it is. I hope that you enjoy it.
She came down from heaven loaded with gifts
That the Father had given to her.
He told her these gifts She would treasure.
But there were trials she would need to endure.

Her Father in Heaven assured her
That he would always be there by her side.
And if she would take but a moment to ask
He would be more than willing to guide.

A beautiful girl with her gifts from heaven
Did not think that this earth would be bad
God had created a wonderful place.
To enjoy all of the gifts she now had.

She found her a place in a meadow
That was filled with the colors she loved.
The greens and the whites and the blues and pinks
It reminded her of being with God

She laid on the ground and looked up to the sky
She saw butterflies and heard the birds sing
She closed her eyes gently and took a deep breath
And felt the breeze from an angels wing

The angel knelt down right beside her
And gently caressed her sweet cheek.
Promise me please, dear child of god
Come hear when its peace that you seek

When life on this earth becomes too much to take
When your hearts filled with pain and dispare
Come back to this meadow in heart and in mind
I’ll be here and your heartaches we’ll share

I’ll remind you of your gifts from heaven
Like courage, and knowledge, and strength
And how these gifts will help you go on
And endure life no matter its length.

Your spirit is strong and is willing
Your mind will, at times, be confused
Your heart will know there is safety close by
And your soul you will never loose.

Your time on this earth is important
You will experience true joy and true pain
But remember when storm clouds gather
How much you love the smell of the rain.

Your Father in Heaven is ready
Even a whisper will not pass him by
He wants to surround you with the blessing of peace
Until you can be by his side

So remember dear child, even though you can’t see
The angel of heaven around you
I will never be too far away from your side
To help when the darkness surrounds you.

And when there is too much, for your mind to carry
Off to that meadow we’ll go
The one that is filled with the beauties of earth
And the peace that your hearts come to know

A. The rules of the game are posted at the beginning. B. Each player answers the questions about themselves. C. At the end of the post, the player then tags 5 people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them know that they have been tagged and asking them to read your blog.

10 years ago: I was staying at home with 3 little kids all under the age of five!!! YIKES (no wonder I'm tired!!) and Levi was still waiting to join our family.

.5 things on my to-do list today:

1. Some sort of excersize. ( maybe i'll call tiff and try her eliptical)

2. Ok Ok I have to admit I have been sitting here for 30 min trying to make a to do list. I have NEVER made one in my life!! Not that I don't have a bizillion things i should be doing, its just that I am not organized, smart, or I don't know what enough to make one. I do realize though, that if I would make a to do list, I wouldn't have forgotten alot of things that i have.

3. I'm sitting here thinking about it, and my heart is racing and i'm having anxiety.

4. It may sound really stupid, but I think that if I had a to do list it would be something that was expected of me, and it would be something that i could get down on myself about.

5. I'll have to work on that one!!! OBVIOUSLY !!!

Snacks I enjoy

1. Skittles!!! (They are my favorite)

2. Rootbeer floats

3. Reeses pieces

4. Macadamion nut cookies with white chocolate.

Things I would do if I were suddenly made a billionaire:

1. pay off all debt.

2. Buy a four door Toyota Tacoma (One day!!)

3. Build a clinic for abused Children with the very best counselors

4. Drive to a random city/town, drive down a random street, pick a random house, knock on the door and give them like 100,000.00. Hope that I had some heavenly guidence so that it was someone who could really use it......

5. If #4 was as fun as I think it would be, I'd do it again for #5.

3. of my bad habits:

1. lazy

2. Not organized at all!!!!!

3. my own worst enemy!!!

.5 places I have lived:

1. Tremonton, UT

2. Bothwell, UT

3. That's it, sorry....not exactly 5

5 jobs I have had:

1. Motor para for school district.

2. special ed para for North Park

3. Professional burrito roller at the local Mexican restaurant (taco time)

4. Housekeeping at Nursing Home

5. Thats it.....

5 things people don't know about me:

1. I have bee going to a physcologist (shrink) once a week for almost 7 years. And 12 years prior to that off and on.

2. I have almost no self-confidence ( I think it is really important to be self-confident or I guess another way to say it would be "self-comfortable")

3. I wish I had the guts to go to school and become a vet or a ultrasound tech.

4. I cry alot. Especially when i see new babies, no matter what kind, human or animal. To know they came straight from heaven and no-one or nothing has had a chance to ruin their innocence.

5. I'm not scared to die.

WOW ! ! That only took me hours.....

No one really to tag- all the bloggers I know have been already!!!

Well, whatever the greenhand award is, we are glad she got it. I'm not to knowledgeable about this FFA stuff, but she seems to enjoy it so I guess thats a good thing. Its something her and her dad have is common. I'll just stick to teaching her how to bake. (Yes, im still trying to get the burnt cake off of the Easy Bake Oven.) Maybe by the time she goes to college I will have mastered the easy bake and moved up to our oven. Then she can come home to visit and give me baking classes.

Here is Roo at our Christmas party over to Kittys. He got a new John Deere hoody. He is a farmer through and through.
We are going today to get him fitted for contacts. I hope all goes well with them. He has been looking forward to getting rid of his glasses, at least during school hours. He got those great eyelashes from Joe and now everyone will be able to see them. I hope he can stick the lenses in his eyes, if he is anything like his dad he wont. Joe's eyes water when he watches me put my contacts in. Its hilarious!!

Levi has started his jr. jazz career. He loves it and I love him doing it. He has soo much energy and its good to see him use it up on the basketball court. He is learning alot and haveing loads of fun. I was a little hesitant to sign him up, but im very glad I did.
Stetson and Ruger are playing too. They are on the same team and at first they both hated the idea. Now they have fun being the "Summers Brothers". Pretty funny huh? Its great to see them get along doing something together....

This is my neice, Oakley, she is so awesome, I think its because she thinks im kinda cool. She always calls me on her princess cell phone (thats what her mother tells me anyway) I guess her and I have had some great visits. She loves to come out to the house when we have baby pigs. And when we walk them down the lane road for the fair, she loves notifying all of us not to step in the "poop". She is the last grandbaby of my side of the family so it is fun to spoiil her a little.

Stets had a great time with his best buddy, Thomas, playing in the snow. He truely loves this little guy. He can't wait for him to get older to play some football with.
Speaking of football, I remember thinking, when Stets was little, I hope this little guy likes football so he can watch it with Joe. Well he does love football and he loves watching with Joe. Especially if they want opposite teams to win. Its alot of fun to watch them.
